Myspace : Change your picture to a pretty female.

So I'm conducting an experiment whereby I change my profile picture to that of a beautiful female. And guess what ? This action and this action alone has increased hits on my myspace page. And on my myspace page, I have a banner linking to my website. When I consult my stats log on my server, I can see that I'm getting traffic from myspace. *laughs* Read my blog on myspace... it's not a significant increase, mind you ... I had 379 profile views for months, and it *never* increased. When I changed the picture, it increased over night.

Get some avatars from http://mods.simplemachines.org/index.php?mod=278 , and download all 4 packages.. extract them, and upload the images to your myspace page.

what does the 2nd piece of code do?

 

The second piece of code will format your comments, because there're some annoying people out there that post huge pictures. It'll reformat the size of posted pictures so that they don't break out of the screen..

Also, since I have a 468x60 banner posted above the about me section, adding that second batch of code will put things back in order...

i do that allready, from 300 friends to 8000 in 1 week, no train or whore, just replied all the msg like you are a real female, 70 millions of users on myspace is worth it.

one quick question... getting extra visitors by putting some female pic - will that of any use untill and unless you are using adsense or something similar...

other then that it wont help... isnt it.

 

i think you forgot to change the sex... its still male there... and you might not be getting intelligent visitors... i bet that it would increase if you make changes in your profile too... all the best...

I think myspace is good for teen targeted sites who are not complexed but have catchy appeal and something "cool" in them. I will try this

 

By the way, can you send me some "pretty female" pictures who can never sue me or whose BF/husband can never find me ?
