gee thanks I will need the basic instructions I have my own host and about 5 wp blog all five have 2.3 or less versions I need to update them all on the same server my host will not support thaT how can you help

 

Basically all you want to do is upgrade your WP installs to 2.7, is that correct?

First take a look at the Wordpress upgrade instruction, they are really simple.

The first thing important step is to save your wp-config.php file. Never delete this file. The wp-content folder also requires special handling.

All other files and folders should be deleted and then replaced with the latest 2.7 files.

 

Before we proceed please tell me if you know how to use a FTP program and if you have access to your hosting account.

There's an Automatic Upgrade Plugin that I highly recommend to newbies.

Just put in your host info, and see the charm.

 

Comments are good since they make your blog seem more active and crowded which is a good thing. Remember to check to see whether some of those comments are spam, because those aren't that healthy for your blog.

 

And don't forget to Backup your Blogs before you do any updates... Murphy is always waiting for his chance

Yes the automatic upgrade is the best way to go. You can do everything from you admin panel and it takes minutes.
