    Can anyone anyone give an example of some Digg post that can be used to get traffic to forum... I means what should be Digged up.. the forum itself, the topic etc.
    Please help........

    I think digging topic would definitely would be more beneficial as this would be coming more in the search results.

    you can get some good backlinks from digg......

    just search for do-follow forums.
    add a signature with your keyword and make a post.
    submit it in digg.
    google will index the forum post and so you will get some good backlink

    Look for topics that are hot in the media and Digg the ones you think will be a hit, then post comments with your signature link on them.

    I cannot tell you presicely which topics to digg, cause it's really a gamble... You just have to use good judgement when deciding what's going to be popular and what's going to get burried.
