Something must be wrong! Help!

Hey guys,

I need your Adsense wisdom fast!

I have an account that is almost three months old.... I have a total of three sites with Adsense... but I rarely make over $4.00/day....its mainly due to the fact that Im having problems getting traffic to my site, but Ive still been working hard. However, I have had a few high days ($10-13 days).

I logged in this morning at 10 a.m. to see that only 90 impressions have been made so far... yet I've had 47 clicks.. generating $14.84.... I tried to see where the clicks were coming from, but my channels only recognize 5 of the 47 clicks. I dont have channels on every page (since there are only 25 channels you can use), so I can't track it. I am part of a few adsense revenue sharing forums... could that be it? Or could it be a page that I never tracked? I did have a very popular celebrity site, that doesnt have channels on many of the pages.

Should I contact Google? I didnt click once on my ads, and Im nervous that a red flag will go up... especially since Ive barely had any impressions today.. yet I've somehow generated 47 clicks? What should I do?!

I take my acct seriously and don't want to do any harm to it.

 

You should use domain channels so you can at least tell what domain they are coming from.

 

I dont know how to do that?

I would read the What are channels? section in Google Help Center before contacting Google.

Create url channels for every domain your ads may appear on.

I just dont want them thinking its invalid clicking, because I didnt do anything. I hope I'm alright...and its just my hard work paying off!

 

re: your high clicks.
I would contact Google, point out that you think these are invalid because they are unusually high and ask them to disregard them all.
They will EITHER, thank you and disregard them (and say they'll 'monitor the situation'), or, they'll say, "hey, thanks for pointing out your invalid clicks - you're banned"

 

Yeah, I just sent Google an e-mail and explained everything...

If you let them know about suspicious activity and are honest, they are usually pretty nice about things. They would rather have you point it out then try to screw them over.

Hopefully they'll either take the amount off of my account, or let me know where these clicks are coming from. I hope they are valid because then it would mean my hard work is paying off!
