What script is this?

This is NOT my site, nor do I know the person who owns it. On the top of the home page there is a script that rotates images. If you click the image you are taken to an article.

I want a script like that for my wordpress site. Can anyone tell me the name of the script and where to get it?

Guys, thank you, but I know its flash - that is not the point.

I need a slide show feature that I can link to articles and maybe even another site. The pictures should be numbered across the bottom so the person viewing the slideshow can pick the image they want to see, or just watch it play.

I have seen these on a number of wordpress sites and can not find out any other information.

Thank you, that will get me started.

If you knew it was flash then why is the title of this thread "What script is this?"

If you have all your images together and the links of where you want the user to go you should be able to find someone to make it for you for like $200-300.

There is a wordpress plug in that will do this. I want to know what plugin or script it is. It does not matter that its flash or javascript, I want the actual plugin.

Why would I pay 200 - 300 for a script when there are free ones out there. Following the links that karthikeyan posted I was able to find a free script close to what I was looking for. The wordpress plugin has been installed and its up and running without the need for flash. And that is what I wanted.

Can you post the link? I'm interested in seeing the plugin too.

I decided to go with http://d13design.co.uk/d13slideshow/ on my survival gear site.

One of the problems I ran into was the default text ran off the bottom of the images and onto the page. I had to limit the description of the article to 150 characters.

To get the images to where you could see as much as possible I resized them to 500 pixels wide.

Then I used photoscape to crop the images to the size of the image box. And you can see the results.

Yes, my site is running Wordpress Version 2.7.

I am happy with the way everything turned out. I was hoping to be able to link to an external site, but the script does not support that feature. Instead, I linked to an internal page that has a feed of recent forum post. Everything has worked out almost exactly as I wanted.
