Naah, the "field dressing a moose" mention was just a nod to the Palin reference. Palin's a moose hunter, field dressing is the first step to getting meat on the dinner table regardless of species.

 

If you strip away the descriptions and all context that moose image becomes a bit disturbing(or exciting if you're into that sort of thing).

...do people fight them? Seems like something people would do if they are that big and scary...y'know, like bull fighting...people who want a massive thrill out of putting their life in danger, that kind of thing. Sorry, i'm a bit tired but can't sleep, random thoughts will come to me at this point.

They are big. We see them from time to time, wandering down some of the back roads outside of town. But I don't think they are really all that aggressive.

 

Yes. Surely not as aggressive as one other animal that we all know and love.

 

People forget that their Big Mac or Outback Steakhouse entre' once had large brown eyes and looked like those cute cows on the TV commercials. Unless you are all vegetarians, be glad someone does the disturbing things required to get meat to the table without it being tainted, and removing the organs immediately is just a normal part of that process.

[And of course if you ARE vegetarians... good for you... leaves more steak for me.]

I am a vegetarian.

I'm also waiting for PETA to approve me into their ranks. I'll deal with you and other wild animal meat eating criminals after that.

I dunno Buff, the vegetarians may have a point... eating meat today with all the chemicals and hormones & stuff might be bad for us and only the vegetarians will be healthy.

On the other hand I hate to give up meat. Answer may be to go on a strict vegetarian diet... at least until we've eaten all the vegetarians.

 

I dunno, buffalo's are supposed to be vegetarian.

Or are you buffalo only because eating buffalo meat is your thing.

I thought Buffalo are be vegetarian but World is really change and now we would see non-vegetarian Buffalo.
