    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

Need help please. Want to add adsense to my site but am new at this.

I own a site called www.gethomeworkhelp.com it is a homework help, tutoring site. Things that could go well with my site are school supply sites, bookstore sites, college books, scholarships, student loans etc. Can someone help me develop a game plan on how to initiate something to my site with steps and what can make it most effective for me to make some extra money per month?

    Thank you,

    Joe

I think you're missing the point of Adsense. You don't need a game plan with Adsense per se. You just slap on the code, Adsense "reads" what you have on your pages, and delivers relevant ads automatically. That's whe whole novelty of Adsense -- you don't have to work, its script does it for you.

hi Joe, you have a very nice site there. It has a professional layout and design. I think you should not add adsense to the site, as it would merely make it an MFA site. What you can try to do is have some tutorials and lectures for helping with homework and have some signup fee for every coure or tutorial you offer.

You can initially keep the signup free but when you see people actually getting useful things from your site, you can change it to a paid registration.

Also, I'd suggest that you should start a newsletter for the registrants to announce new courses and lectures and also to bring repeat visitors to your site.

The part on selling college books, etc is good. You can sign up with really specific affiliates for this.

Good Luck with your site :D

Why would adding a few nicely blended ads turn this site into a mfa site? It is a well written and professional looking site and I don't believe adsense will take away from that as long as the ads are added in nicely. While I agree there are other possible revenue streams for this site, I don't see why adsense couldn't be a part of it. Try adding a some ads onto the site and see what happens. Just my opinion. Nice site. Best of luck with it.

Janet do you have any other ideas to generate cash flow for me off this sire or anyone else? Anyone have a contact or anything with a textbook company or student supplies or loans that will want to advertise on my site? I am new to this all and want to use my site to make extra money other then the initial services offered.

    Thanks,

    Joe

You could try adbrite. I am not sure how much traffic you are currently receiving, but I have heard some people have done well with them.
