google site maps program didnt notify me of my banment

    I did some myspace marketing and they banned my site for to many links and according to google if you sign up for the sitemaps you will get a warning..

    google stated that if you become a member of their site map program u would be notified before any action was taken on behalf of your site in order to give u time to rectify the situation.

    I know they mentioned that it is by selection but still.. they hype this feature up just to get more control of the sites that are online and I dont like it.

    I have a similar story. One of my sites went supplemental: only the index page is indexed in the main google index. No notification of any kind was ever sent.

    This is starting to make me think that google lied to get more sign ups for their site maps.

    Honestly they offer these cool webmaster tools but really its like a trojan horse.

    By giving them this access now they can track more about how us webmasters operate our sites which we all know there is a definitely a war between us SEM's and the Search engines.

    That stinks ur site went supplimental. Did you contact google about that?
