Sachin Tendulkar not in Top 20 Players in Icc All time great players!

Sachin is not only India's but also worlds one of the best crecketer. Yesterday when ICC declare's its list of all time great players the name of Tendulkar was missing in top 20 players. He was 26 in the list. Is it fare for ICC to out list Tendulkar? He surely fits in top 20. Is not the insult of asuch agreat player? What do you think?

 

Well I ICC Rankings is totally suck, Top 3 Highest Run maker not in Top 20 which is shocking. Even Martin is in top 20 but not Lara, Border and Sachin. World Most run maker in both format with most century and still missing in top 20 list. I can't understand about ranking method.

 

Other Indians in the list include Kapil Dev, Vinoo Mankad, SP Gupte and Dilip Doshi at numbers 35, 67, 74 and 83 in ICC list.

 

ICC has a proper points system, the person who scores more points, gets ranking in ICC.Points are not totally based on centuries or runs, these points shows better performance in difficult time and every one knows sachin is unable to score more runs in final or in important matches.

 

Well I don't think so, it's just excuses only from ICC, Lara is far better records in such a condition which you mention but still not in top 20 list, where is Border? Border's records are far better then Hayden and no one denied it but Border is behind Hayden.

 

I think this is no at all fair awards given bye ICC.

Yes you are right, We can't do anything but we know ICC ranking will not liked by anyone. All greatest players ranked out top 10 including Top 3 Run makers.

I think BCCI should sack ICC (well I know ICC is the boss, but hey, they get all the money from BCCI, no?)

 

Hes a great player in my opinion, playing since his teen and up until now hes very constant

 

I don't think they need to ask, it's a just list not a truth about Worlds Top batsmen, most of experts and ex-cricketer are not accepting it. Best Example is Andy Flower who is ranked ahead of one of the best captain and cricket Steve Waugh. We all knows that Steve Waugh is far better Capitan and Cricketer then any others. But we can't do anything.

 

I was surprised to hear that. Sachin Tendulkar should have been in Top 10 and probably in top 3.

 

Well.....ICC quickly tried to make amends by coming out with fresh set of list for Test and ODIs and Sachin now ranks 4th in the Test List !

Really? I don't know about it. But now question will arise on ICC as they made new list that means they have mistakes in old list. What's the criteria for ranking? No one know it.

 

Yes, Rightman is Right... ICC declare a new list. I think Pressure build up by BCCI....Money power...

 

Yes but it's not a BCCI's pressure but after criticism from experts around the world, they made changes now. Can you have new list? I can't find it.

 

This is ridiculous ,If sachin int in top 20 who should be on top? I cant believe that Sangakkara got on tops!!

 

THis list says that Sangakara is better than Sachin, I think its a joke of a century, even Kapil is not in the bowler list its a funny list by ICC
