    Sometimes certain adsense formats, such as the skyscraper, are not appearing on my pages as if the code for them wasn't even inserted in the page. anyone else currently experiencing this?

    i just want to confirm if we're talking about the same thing:

    i'm not just talking about ads simply not appearing. i'm talking about it looking as if a particular adsense code is not even inserted into the pages' html. there's just a blank space where the ad unit should be, no adsense search box, no nothing.

    i don't think it's a content problem. if it was, wouldn't the code still display the public service ads? i'm not even getting public service ads. look:

    SEE? :confused:

    there should be a skyscraper right below the blue button that says "Click a button and sponsors pay for food". it's on my other pages but not this one. are you saying adsense doesn't necessarily display public service ads all the time?

    In the Adsense code generation process you have the option of choosing a color to be displayed instead of PSAs. Perhaps you chose that option.

    I don't think it's the adsense block, I think it might be broken html. Try putting some text between these lines:

    <td class="clstd" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" style="border-color:#D0D0D0;" align="center" >

    <script type="text/javascript"><!--

    Code (markup):
    See if the text shows up.

    You have 2 closed divs after that particular table, where did you open them?

    Actually, just tested with the source and the text I added did indeed show up...

    I'd regenerate the adsense code, see if that helps.
