    I hadn't looked at it in a few days and you might be right.

    I have added a dashed border box around the H1. Also, please have a look at

    page2.html and page3.html with their different background colors.

    Appreciate the advice. What about the adsense positioning?

    i like the ad placement (lots ;) ), i think it has too much of a Web 1.0 look, maybe use a dark background and light text and a different font (also the white ad boxes will pop more, maybe a web 2.0ish image to make it look newer

    Not quite on adsense, but something that may indirectly help it...

    I would restyle your page with CSS. It looks rather bland and plain to me.

    That's the idea, for the enduser to want to leave right? There options are limited to the back button, closing the browser, or clicking an adsense link.

    That's my understanding of how those who are the most successful with adsense do it.
