For me, Opera is the best. But people says that Opera, or Google Chrome, or FireFox are the best simply cuz' they used to it and they are using them everyday. I use Opera, that's why for me it's the best browser. :D

the only reason google made chrome was to steal more peoples information, they want to become like alexa.com and have their own website based research center shit lol

I've been using Chrome since it was released in beta. Now the only time I use FireFox is when I'm testing out how a website I coded looks. I'm sorry to abandon FireFox like this - but Chrome is NICE.

Firefox is a really good browser, especially if your a designer and into coding because they are all updated in the latest web standards.. BUT browsers like Safari, Opera, & Google Chrome are also fairly good. I've used Opera before and it has a lot of cool features that Firefox doesn't have.. Google Chrome is very basic imo, but works well and its speedy.. So in the end it depends on your preference I guess. The only browser I would advise against using is IE :p. At least at the moment, if they get there act together then it might also be a good browser, but I don't know if its going to happen..

FF I used to adore but when I was forced to accept Vista as my OS it never worked quite as well as I'd been used to.

Netscape was my browser of choice (may it RIP). Now if I want fast I use Seamonkey or Chrome, but usually stick with FF as it IS really user friendly.

Opera is good but I find it has compatibility issues.

I do the same also. If Chrome could use the same extensions as FF, even just the web dev stuff, I would completely switch over to chrome about 89% of the time. The other 11% I use to go onto IE with facebook or myspace..Chrome seems to not like those sites for me at least (flash or something)

I found Opera to be more feature rich, stable, and fast. Good widgets, too.

I'll never go back to Firefox again.

I don't think there's anything 'wrong' with IE really, I've just subconsciously installed Firefox on every machine I've sat at in the last 2 years :p
