    First make image layout for a banner using photoshop and then go to Windows->Animation menu you will get all the things related to animation there

    Well for animating images, first you will have to make different frames which are to be animated ( the frames must be on different layers) then go to windows->animation then make frames from layers, then if you wannt to match a particular background, select that layer and select match background and then you can animate, or if you want to animate with simple ways without creating different frames, try using image ready...!

    the animation work in all versions of photoshop is carried out in the adobe image ready

    you can find alot of it's lessons

    In CS3 they did away with imageready and built all the functionality into photoshop itself
