    Hey everyone! I just registered here, ...i've been looking around for a while, and seemed like a great place! Anyways, a little bit of info about myself. I'm Ricardo from the Netherlands, .. 18 years old, and drawing, creating things for like years! At the moment i'm in a Internship at a Video Game company, and i'm an Artist there.

    So, .. why a post in this topic? Well, I would love to see come critics, reviews, etc, on my work!

    Thanks! :) At the moment i'm actually trying to create some other styles, so I can be a bit more ... well, "dynamic" or something. But glad you like it!

    One of the best portfolio's Ive seen on here. Well done.

    I notice that you dont have any printed material in the portfolio. Try adding 1 or 2 printed material such as brochures, corporate docs, logos/letterheads etc. This will give your portfolio a more complete feel.

    Even though you may only want to be an illistrator, employee's generally want to see a wide range of skills. *Just in case their graphic designer is sick, and you are called in to do his job on occasions etc etc.

    Wow, that's a really nice comment, and thanks for the suggestion of the printed material photo's. I'll try to implement that in the future, but most of my work is digital, and well, hard to show the printed result then. But thanks! :)

    You dont need to print it out, When I was preparing my portfolio I just used stock images like this;

    and with some tweaking in Photoshop using the modify > Distort / perspective tool, you can achieve some very good and realistic looking results.

    God give you something that you should use for a greater purpose.

    I'm really envious to someone that's almost a half from my age, but can do better than myself :) at that age of course.

    I'm using Adobe software, Illustrator/Photoshop mostly. Combinated.
