    Hi,

Our site has an average of 4600 unique visitors/day.

Where do you place adsense banners in it ?

It has a phpBB forum too http://www.revogamers.net/comunidad

    Thanks! :)

Well, first of all delete "popups" (it´s against AdSense TOS)

I´d put a 120x600 on the right next to the scroll.

I´d put a 336x280 right below main flash banner including three or four small pictures on the left side of the baner? did you got it?

I think you can start with this...

    Feel free to ask.

    Regards,

    Mak :)

I didn't notice any popups, and they are not against TOS unless they actually contain AdSense.

Follow CualQuiera's advice, they should be pretty effective to start with (just make sure to properly blend them).

Annoying your visitors with pop-ups will result in a reduced chance of them clicking on any other ad. Get rid of them and stick with AdSense only.

Very true, although having them (as long as they don't contain AdSense) isn't a TOS violation, I don't think they are a very effective revenue source (I personally hate them).

    I Agree with CualQuiera.

You need your ads to be noticed in your site also work with the colors you choose so they look a part of your site and they will then attrct more clicks as visitors will think it is part of your site content.

maybe you should look to get paid banner ads for other web sites. Should email sites that go with your site and have something that your visiters will buy.

Pop ups are there, for example if you follow some links.
I'd also get rid of those, even though they can get you some money, and they are not against TOS as Tyler said, I believe that if some nice blend, your site can generate nice revenue.

BTW - I like the site. Nice images, loads fast... it's nice.

They came from your nedstatbasic. Since they sold the company to a third party... they've started to do this.

Wow, you need more ads if you're getting that many uniques per day.:) I would suggest a skyscraper along the right.

    Klian,

I tested a lot of ads and I have to say that it differs per site. I do well with the ads that I have placed on my site. In the 5,000 visitor range, you should definately be testing adsense. Take a look at my placement if you need ideas.

Hi folks, I am having a similar "good problem" on pace for 5K-7K uniques per month though.

Could you tell us where to get a banner from? And possibly something related? My site is a musical artist fansite. Many thanks!

PS. What do they pay for banners? I assume its based on 1K impressions?
