A Finest information. I was also thinking what is sandbox so far. Many people were thinking why the site is not appearing in google search. I am sure after reading this post it would have cleared

Hey guys, I wonder if doing the following is a good idea: Have a well written and clear website about Insurance. Clicks earn around 7.50 - 35$ usually according to adwords tool. Previously, I never had a website that was working (theyre all in construction now) but i do have adsense. If I'm about to publish a website that is well written, can be considered legitimate and trustful for readers, is well optimized and all, and I launch it on one day with adsense in it as well as get on the same day or two 300 backlinks from websites with 300k+ and up uniques a month, how long before I get into the sandbox?? Also insurance keywords are worth around 7.50 - 35 bucks per click, and i get many clicks will i still keep my earnings of adsense? is there any restriction? Will I be put into the sandbox and still be able to keep my earnings? Because if google bans me from it's search engine but keeps my adsense account and earnings intact, then I'm still ok, because google only has around 70% of search terms, i can still get visitors from other search engines, i mean at 20$ average per click I won't be sad for 10 clicks a month!!!

Anyone knows answers on the questions above? thanks

In computer security, a sandbox is a security mechanism for safely running programs. It is often used to execute untested code, or untrusted programs from unverified third-parties, suppliers and untrusted users.

The sandbox typically provides a tightly-controlled set of resources for guest programs to run in, such as scratch space on disk and memory. Network access, the ability to inspect the host system or read from input devices are usually disallowed or heavily restricted. In this sense, sandboxes are a specific example of virtualization.

I thought sandbox meant your not indexed in Google. So sandbox actually has to do with keywords?

Yes its keyword specific. Nothing to do with indexing or a whole site.

I was wondering, what are the parameters to take in account to decide if the keywords in a new domain name are risking the sandbox?

I mean, the competitiveness of keywords are just related on how many times they are searched per month? And if it is so, a keyword searched 100k times per month is going into the sandbox for sure?

Very interesting, I have never heard of the whole sand box thing but it does explain a few things about my site now lol
Guess patience and gradually chipping away is the key

"How can I tell if I am in the sandbox?

Doing a search for allinanchor:"keyword" is the best way to tell. My general rule is if you have go through and search page by page looking for your URL and find it then you are not in the sandbox. But if you get tired of looking and your fingers start to hurt and you quit before you find it then you are in the sandbox. "

What does this term actually mean allinanchor:??

I searched for my keywords for my term that i was previously ranked #3 in google for, i am now nowhere to be seen on google serps for this term, but when i use this search allinanchor:"keyword" i am position #160

    What does this mean?

I can say for sure that it is not ONLY about the number of searches. I have experience with optimizing jokes website and the keywords like jokes, funny jokes and others are searched many times more comparing with long tail keywords related to web hosting niche. But the jokes website was out of the sandbox in 3 months and our web hosting company needed over 2 years to go out.

It seems that the keyword competition is calculated using AdWords because it is very simple way how to consider the importance of the keyword for the business owners.

I started a regional site about a month ago and I started SEo about a month ago. I am on the first page for my keywords in SERPs and I am moving up every day with that particular site. I don't think that the "sandbox" applies so much to regional sites with less competition. Cheers!

I was wondering something else. Let's say your site was in sandbox once with the keywords "keyword1", then after a couple of months you're finally out of sand box. If you change your keywords then to let say "keyword2", which you never used until now and they are also competitive, will you enter again in sandbox for that new "keyword2". The question is - can you experience sandbox effect again, and again and so. Does anyone have any observation about this?

I studied on this topic a lot. But Google never said any thing about put the site(s) in SandBox due to kw. As I learned that old domains if developed could avoid sandbox effect. Am I correct? please.

This is because of competition. As there thousands of sites are built daily. So your kw is being competed with better performed sites. And thus the SERP shows your site ranked 160th. But one thing I found that if you post content each day, more back links will be added to you and your site will rank well.
    Good Luck!

Thank you guys. Sandbox is a villain to knew sites. But it is beneficial to old sites. They just do not leave their spot because someone creeps on them.
