    But! i just need a review of ways i can get better CTR. its pretty bad. i got about 500 impressions today so far( i know its low for a forum) but its new. any ideas on what i can do? its the link in my sig! http://www.banra.com

    first, i think you should put some CPM ads
    Then, you should put the google ads in the posts or after the first post

    forum adsense layout is may be the very only part DP forum is NO positive example at all

    the google heat maps apply for forums as well and if you use popular formats instead of the small formats displayed in DP forum
    and place them at the right place on the forum pages where people are with their eyes when they read posts ...
    then CTR can as well be high
    in my forums - my average ctr for all forums last months june was 4.47%

    yes, bc you drowned your users in ads. i want to keep the users not "ad" them away.

    he was saying that you should use an adsense link unit and locate it between the 1st and 2nd post.

    I woild add a leaderboard or link unit in to the bottom of the thread too, to give users an "exit" that will pay you :)
