Join an affiliate program or start a reseller business, etc. Lots of opportunities abound.

 

Just having a computer is the last reason to start a business.

In almost all cases the computer is simply the enabler, the tool to let you do what your business should be doing. Affiliate marketing is a possible exception, however I don't classify this as a business.

What do you really want to be doing? What are you passionate about? What marketable skills do you have? Answer these questions, then build a business around that.

As Jay said... what are you passionate about? Do something you enjoy. It makes it far more easier. There is no point forcing your self to like something.

i am very much interested for Reseller(Virtual Server) to be an Hoster for website and also i am interested to be designer of websites i know about language programming as Html but i need to know about PHP how i can program the sites with PHP format but i am young for that and maybe in soon years i will learn much for PHP,ASP and Java.

Hosting is just about the worst area you can choose...Do you plan to offer 24 hour service with little to no profit? Don't be fooled by how easy it is to get a reseller account. Some of the smartest business people I know (including myself) weren't able to make a sustainable profit selling hosting.

If you have specialized experience or abilities you can start by registering as a coder/service provider at places like www.getafreelancer.com or Rent a Coder. There are no start up fees and no risk so its a good starting point. Once you do jobs for other people for a while you will start to realize where the real money is online

Agreed. Please don't start another hosting company, there are way too many and its so hard to find a good one.

 

you can expand your horizons if your asking how you can start a business with a computer and very fast internet connection

then i'd say affiliate and adsense programs, and web developmenmt

 

if you have no computer skill, you can start with directory submission and paid survey

 

Learn web design first, see sitepoint.com and webmonkey.com.

Then learn php, see phpfreaks.com.

You should then be able to bid for work as a web designer / developer or you could start your own network of affiliate marketing websites.

If you need to make money in the meantime, start a blog using blogger.com and add Google AdSense to it. Write about something that interests you and you will get money each time someone click on an AdSense ad.

depends what type of business?

import export style thing on your computer to get money?
selling stuff on your computer to get money?
making a website as business or hobby on your computer to get money?

you need hard work! Affiliates! contacts! Connections! Luck! and a lil cash to start out if you want to even make it on the net...

Personally I have only been running small style business on the internet over the last 2 years and made like 10k which is kinda play money as im a student....bu I have re invested it into things so im doing ok...

make a start and you will do well..

First i am starting to work with Suse Linux 9.3 Root System and so soon i will learn to make IRC Servers and i can make Radio Stations with Root,so from this day i am going to be an Hoster.
Those days the internet connection in my country(Kosova) is very very stupid i don't know what the problem is but i hope so soon we will don't have those problems with internet and i will go fast to learn about PHP,Web Design/Developer.
And so soon i will share my experience with you heheh.

If you pick a field you like or an interest that you love you will more likely put more effort and knowledge into it. You will have more incentive to make it work.

And on the upside if it does not make much money for a while you will enjoy working on it.

There are so many things you can do to make money using a computer. Here are a few:
*Buy resale rights to some product, start selling it.
*Make a website, sign up for affiliate programs, promote them. When someone follows your link and buys, you get commission.
* Make a website, put adsense or YPN if available and when your visitors click your ads, you make money. Make more websites.
* make a website, let google index it and give it some PR. Then sell advertising. Now make another website.
* Make a website, offer your services on it, promote it.
* Buy a domain, make a website on it, sell the website 3-5 months later.
* Make a website, upload some really good stuff there and sell membership to use that stuff.
* Make a web directory, sell submissions.

There are many more things but these came up first in my head.
