Firefox is indeed the BEST explorer. It is almost lag-free when running and has features that all the other explorers have...

I think this thread is pretty one-sided. Firefox is definitely the best browser. :)

Better security, less tracking cookies, more add-ons, faster.

    Firefox is the best browser!

No other one can compete with them!

You get everything! add ons, skins plus its faster and very simple and safe to use!

When I first found out about FF, I downloaded and used it from ever since!

I think it should be the cyber-law; Everyone must use FireFox or you are not allowed to use the Internet at all :p

Im guessing all the firefox fanatics are just saying its great because they are comparing it to internet explorer.
I saw a funny cartoon which compared IE to a horse and cart, and Firefox to a Humvee, and Opera to James Bonds Aston Martin.
    Firefox good, Opera Better.

FireFox is not the best. It runs pretty smooth but is not the fastest. The fastest browser is Google Chrome, although still in beta version. I am currently trying Safari 4 Beta, and so far, it's pretty good.

Firefox has a super-small installation (4.9MB), tabbed browsing, multiple shortcut features, integrating pop-up ad blocking, integrated Googlesearch, large viewing area, compatibility with IE shortcuts/ favorites/cookies, clean interface, very user friendly design, and no glaring security holes.
Bad: images load 30% slower than IE; Firefox does not integrate well with Outlook email or Pocket PC Synching; browser plug-ins like Flash and Shockwave require extra user effort to install; some Javascripts will not run in Firefox. Some online banks and other password-protected websites are not designed to allow Firefox users.
Overall: Despite its small flaws, Firefox is an excellent browser that is within a two years of unseating Microsoft IE from its throne.
So i Just love it and i always use it and its my default browser.

    Where did you hear that?
This is a Microsoft issue, not Firefox. Microsoft makes it difficult for 3rd parties to do so.
    Oh? How so?
False! Firefox is far ahead of IE in javascript standards compliance and current implementations. IE is significantly crippled in standard javascript.
Again, this is a flaw with the bank's programmers and not Firefox.
Absolutely true and it has already dethroned IE7 in Europe.
