How you get traffic from digg.com

for most my subbmited links (news article) have only diggs: 1

and no traffic to my site. Even on titles with small competition. (in google more than 10000 searches/month)

So how to hell get traffic from digg???

 

You only gain real traffic from digg if you reach the front page, although many people still get good amounts of traffic without reaching the front page, I don't really use Digg much, so all I know is that it involes building up friends on Digg etc.

 

Sites like Digg and Stumbleupon require something unique and entertaining to get lots of views.

Digg is good for getting your site indexed quickly. Other than that - you need to be very creative to get a lot of traffic.

 

I really don't know but I outsource it and I can tell you that I get approx. 1000 unique visits for reddit and digg

 

You need to get in the front page to get some good traffic on digg.

Look for people that are interested in your niche. Look at articles, for example. Add those people as friends. When you submit a new article, "shout" your friends. They will receive a notification and they might take a look at your article.

Digg is a network. So try to find as many people that might be interested in what you offer. Connect with them.

 

from my experience, digg only works best with viral content like funny video, funny pictures, celebrity gossip, etc...niche article won't get so many attention...maybe you could try to ask your friend to digg your submitted content so it get more attention...
