Blogger.com Ad placement

    Recently i made 4 new blogs on blogger and while i have no idea how much traffic i am getting on each blog, i can see my adsense impressions are gaining by the day.

    Does blogger.com put adsense ads in the best section?

    I created a new blog last night and had 400 hits to it in only 5 hours and then another 200 hits already this morning... no clicks yet though because the content of the blog is about something personal.. (i think thats why there is no clicks).

    Can anyone tell me why?

    If you would like to check this blog out, please PM me

    Did you make any promotion of your blog or you just refreshed it a couple of times to check how the final result was going?
    400 impressions for a start is really 2 much.

    im not using the blog for adsense.. im using the blog to get support for somethign that happened to me and there is adsense on the blog. I am not telling people on myspace to click my links, just to read the blog. Let me know if this is wrong so i can take out the adsense from my blog if it is.

    No, that dosen't sound wrong to me. It would be wrong if you explicitly or implicitly implied in your yahoogroups and myspace ads that they should click on your adsense, but just telling those people to view your blog is a-ok.

    I personally don't think they put it in a bad spot, but they do only place 1 adsense ad, out of the 3 you are allowed to have. I would definitely utilize the other two ad boxes to maximize the likelyhood of someone clicking your ads.

    Best layout for a .Blogspot blog:

    Minima Template

    Move the nav bar to the left

    Try one of the following
    1) Skyscraper in the nav bar/Leaderboard at the top of the page
    2) Two large rectangles (spaced out between posts)

    **Honestly, you're going to need a lot of content for either of these blogs to last.

    How to move the nav bar to the left:
    Edit this section of the template

    /* Content
    ----------------------------------------------- */
    @media all {
    #content {
    width:720px;
    margin:0 auto;
    padding:0;
    text-align:left;
    }
    #sidebar {
    width:180px;
    float:left;
    }
    #main {
    width:410px;
    float:right;
    }

    }
