Photoshop Help

I have been playing around with photoshop of sometime... So i have the basics done pretty good... I want expand my knowledge so I can do some new things... Where is the best place to go for tutorials on photoshop...

I have photophop cs3 if that matters at all....

 

there are lots of photoshop tutorials on the net.
Ask Google to find some for you.

 

I did that and came up with alot of options so I came on here trying to find out which ones are the best.. that way I dont have to look through each one of them....

Try to search for specific tutorials. Start with the basics, and then buildup.

 

Also, along with the tutorials, test it out on pictures, or any other materials that you can use to implement what you have acquired with the tutorials. Good luck!

 

Google "PSDTUTS". There are enough free tutorials there to keep you busy for months. Some of the techniques are really difficult, but you will learn more tricks by at least attempting some of them.

It really depends on what effects you're trying to learn. I've written a few tutorials myself, mostly photo manipulation stuff, but I've also covered dog tags and web 2.0 headers.

Good places to check are out the previously-mentioned PSD Tuts, Tutorialized and Smashing Magazine lists.

 

I always found that the easiest tutorials for learning new software was through watching it off youtube, rather than reading it, that way you can see it being done, as you do it.

 

This one is the best solution for you any problem related to photoshop tutorial. If you know that what you want to do and put the right word in search box and you will get a perfect answers.

you can download a lot of premade shapes, styles, gradients.. it saves a lot of time.

 

take a look at gimp program.

 

to help about the photoshop just install it and see in help menu all the help is there it's very simple

 

a very artistic set of tuts is photoshop secret. its a set of dvds for like 40$. its VERY GOOD. They have advanced effects, but do it step by step, and since its all on video, you can pause and catch up.

as far as learning goes, i highly recommend redoing art pieces you like.
