Is Firefox is the best or not?

I have been using firefox for at least 3 years, and to me, its the best browser on the market. There are lots of reason for this, but the main two are security and plugins.

Security - after I stopped using internet explorer, my system is a lot more stable and I am getting a lot less malware problems. Since firefox does not support activeX, that is a security issue I do not have to worry about.

Plugins - the massive amount of plugins for firefox really adds to what it can be used for. One plugin - firebug, is a must have for any web developer. You can open firebug and see what section of the site is controlled by wha part of the CSS file. Its a really cool feature.

Overall, firefox is the best and most versatile browser I have ever used.

I personally find that google chrome, and ie are the best browsers, but that might just be me.

Firefox is best of all, but currently i am tring the new IE 8

 

Google Chrome is fast and extremely light-weight, but the lack of plugins makes it quite annoying for the more advanced user...

 

Do you even know what are you saying. No browser in this world can be compared to IE,it has its own subsubsub standard class( may be I am telling too much) But you shouldn't compare it with opera.

Well I am opera fan, I just use firefox for firebug only.

 

Firefox simple rocks. i have used netscape, chrome, opera, IE and safari. i can say safari and mozilaa are top. IE is always a pain for me. Chrome is also good, not upto firefox though

ie 8 has just been released and they receive a whopping 20 on the acid 3 test. the acid 3 test is designed to illustrate how well browsers follow the CSS guidlines... when microsoft started releasing ie 8, it proved to me that microsoft does not give a flying shit about people being able to see web pages. soon, the community will begin moving and evolving again with new standards, and developers will be bitching and complaining even more because microsoft doesn't care about standards and its impossible to develop a webpage that fits both of the major browsers... one renders correctly, the other renders like vomit - ie being the subpar vomit machine

firefox is gaining market share like crazy, and for the first time, firefox gained more market share than ie at the turn of the year... I just really think that microsoft doesn't give a crap enough... ie 8 will be shipping with windows 7 btw

In my opinion firefox is the best browser around. I find it useful to download movies too. Here is a tutorial to download videos with firefox.

 

i like firefox but often find it slow . so i still prefer IE6

ya firefox is the best browser coz it has many Add-On Features and tool bar that easily navigate like Autofill tool bar by use this you easily fill the form , Second If you Linux Operarting system then you easily install firefox but Ie is not working on this os ok so you don't require any mandatory operating system ok and some latest IE browsrs not work well on oldest window version so
