    so last time you guys were a bit brutal... but completely right :eek:
    this is a new site I am working on... it is live but I haven't started seo yet. It is definatly a work in progress but please let me know what you think.

    I am making this site because I seem to be one of those people who loves trying new diet trends. I am a fitness freak but love a good diet pill... I know it sounds strange but it is just an interest of mine... PLUS I found many good affiliates for diet and health products... so it works out well. I know I need more content... mostly I am interested in your opinions about adsense placement and page colors... I know sometimes I can think something looks great but other people will hate it. With a similar site I have been having great sucess with clickthroughs... about 40% on average. but the is with payperclick advertising.

    40% CTR? Thats really amazing! Mind sharing the URL?

    Anyway, the layout seems ok to me, but the contents may be rather thin. The number of pages is really too little. You sure need more contents.

    nice website but looks static and something like an affiliate refferal page, you know aka "selling books pages with big text ..ect" ...
    if you want to make money from that website put some dynamic content like articles on the subject vedios, real stories and bla bla bla ...

    First of all I don't like the domain (imagine someone trying to say it over the phone: SLIMMER DASH YOUNGER DASH LETTER U DOT COM; there is room for mistake). I guess if you are doing PPC advertising it won't affect you that much.

    Another thing I don't like in the design, that design doesn't convert. Check out some of your bigger competitors's sites and copy their design, they already did the research and now how to convert.

    no I want the advise... I have a great click through rate with this exact layout on another domain... averages about 40%... sometimes as high as 100% in a day. Of course I am paying for the traffic... but still making double what I pay for the traffic plus the occasional sale from the affliate ads ($40 last week).
    I must say I did do a little of a pout lip when I read you don't like the layout... but I'll get over it :rolleyes:
    basically most of you are saying you'd bounce right off the page... but when I pay for the traffic that doesn't seem to happen... can you guys be alittle more specific about what you don't like?

    I don' think that the colors you use are the best colors (orange and blue). It is real tiring to read white text on an orange background. Stick to black text on white background. Also those thick borders are not very nice, I would remove them or make them more discrete.

    You say you are doubling what you spend on advertising, that's great. But why stop there? if you follow all the tips you see here and improve your copyright and design you can make more money.
