I would advise doing it all in photoshop and then re-uploading.
You can make a macro easily to do that. And it takes around 2 seconds a pic on my crappy PC which is pretty fast

Yes you do have to pay but most graphics designers who are serious about their work already have it so it is just easier to not have to install anything.:D

Are you assuming the author is a designer? If the author was a "serious" designer, the author would NOT be asking this question. Correct? I own Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, and use external utilities.

    Batch Image Resize.
Resizes images and watermarks them....in realtime.

If you want the same sizes for all those 10K pictures and same watermarks....it may take you 1~5 hours depending on your RAM and PC

Imagemagick tools will do. About a 100 times faster than Photoshop. But they aren't that straightforward to use and you have to know your way around in a shell.

ImageMagick, as has already ben suggested will do this for free and quickly - and you can alao run it on web servers on the command-line and don't require having the files all downloaded. In fact, you can make or find scripts that will allow ImageMagick to automatically edit files you upload as well...
