How Do I Add Adsense To My Wordpress Articles?

Discussion in 'Placement / Reviews / Examples' started by jvfconsulting, Jun 8, 2009.

Today I successfully deployed adsense to a wordpress blog I manage on the right hand navigation. You can see it here http://www.sistasizing.com/

My question is how do I get the same ads to display on the actual article pages? For example; when you click on this link which takes you directly to the article there are no adsense ads in the right navigation. http://www.sistasizing.com/meeting-author-john-robbins/ How do I add the right hand nav with all the adsense ads in there? Please help!

It seems your blog theme doesn't have a side bar in it. Ad blocks and the other widgets are added using widgets and they seem to be only in the home page. Cant comment much without knowing more about the theme.

So you're saying that if I apply a theme with a side bar on it, then it will apply my current sidebar to my articles? That makes sense, I just have to find out where to apply themes for the articles now.

If you are going to apply a new theme then you might loose the Adsense blocks you have already added. First copy the content of the Adsense blocks , apply a new theme then add the Adsense blocks in the side bar. You seem to be using Wordpress so you can easily find many free themes available.

Where are you wanting to add ads at? Above the first post, under the first post? You can just code it into the site, go to your editor in your wordpress dashboard and code it into the singlepost, singlepage and main page template.
