    No idea, but it will depend of the next technology really.

    Video and networking is only allowed by faster machines, faster hosts and faster connections, it's not really the product of a need.

    Nah, this is also has-been.

    To be honest, it's really hard to see what could become the next big thing. The more time goes on, the more we seem to have used everything we can.

    Retro is quite the buzz these days. So maybe bringing back some stuff from the 50's/60's. Who knows...

    If i understand correctly, in the future will be these:

    First - conversion from 2D view to 3D without any glasses, after that no more conversions at all
    Second - few good competitors for windows OS
    Third - Open Source software going to win (after that, it becomes commercial)
    Fourth - Free calls to phone from computers,
    Fifth - Computers without standard windows, we use them just touching and smelling after that by minds :)
    Sixth - All information everyone can get from one place (own computer) - google take care of that.

    Here is my list :)

    news flash, the dot com bubble burst a long time ago, we are just riding the waves

    more younger and low income people getting on the net, coupled with higher amounts of click-fraud=less people investing in the net.

    But I don't know, maybe it can happen, we can always hope!
