First thing - do NOT post copyrighted material that does not belong to you. Post only your own videos that you own.

Create a google account and sign up for adsense.

After your videos get a few hundred thousand views, and you get some subscribers, apply for a youtube partner account - http://www.youtube.com/partners

Once you are approved for a partner account, you can link your youtube account and your google adsense account.

Then you submit your videos for revenue sharing.

After the videos are approved for revenue sharing, a google adsense banner will appear next to your approved videos. When people click the banner, you make money.

The more popular your videos are, the more views you get, the more money you make. And its all tied in with your google adsense account.

Well you can't earn money by uploading videos in youtube because the main aim of youtube is only to share videos.

As you have probably gathered from the different posts there are 2 main methods:

1. Use the AdSense integration and have adsense ads displayed on your videos.

2. Use videos to direct people to your related website where you earn from selling a product/service or from advertising.

 

In a video that is marketing your website ... give away as much as you can ... it will bring visitors who admire your generosity ... then Sell them!

 

Sure you can earn by uploading videos. Just sign up for a youtube partner account and link it with your google adsense account.

Once you have those 2 accounts linked, submit your videos for revenue sharing. Youtube will then insert ads into and next to your video.

 

Hmmm, I never thought that I can earn money through youtube... Adsense again, oh well Google must have been earning tons and tons of dollars everyday due to this adsense and other revenue making stuff they have. It's kinda complicated for me though but I think what kev said has opened my eyes to the possibility, thanks!

Youtube mainly help to share video not provide earning opportunities. For this you will have to search out other sources like Google Adsense etc.

 

Make or use videos to promote either your products or affiliate offers.
