A new site, what do you think of layout and placement?

This is a new site I have started this week. It may not be a long term project, but just wondering what you think of the ad placement/layout and blending and any suggestions you might have

Nice way to get folks to your site, but I don't see how you could have any expectation of making money from Adsense from this site -- adultery, infidelity, dating for the mentally ill. However, I've seen other similar sites that managed to squeeze out a few bucks. So stick with it and maybe it'll work out. Good luck.

 

not really trying to just make money and there is no infidelity in it mate!

It is all about how my relationship broke down.

The main aim is to explain daily how I am dealing with the break up.

Kind of like a gen y how to guide

 

blending in is done ok.
You might want to try a smaller square in a floating div, so you text is displayed next to it. But i would just test both options and see what works best..

thanks guys. been sick the last two days so havent added more but will try to ad some more to it. The better days and more interesting ones are coming up. my sense of humour is tweaking again so it will be much more interesting then

 

Good concept but as far as I can see the domain name is completely irrelivant to the content?
I was expecting some sort of job site.

 

yeah it is a spare domain I had. I am thinking of either just subdomaining or buying a new one. Any suggestions?

 

I would suggest its' own domain, if you are going to keep the site going. Domains are cheap these days.

 

Be a bit more attractive with your websites... treat them as your children.. so will they help you later on...

 

yup I am trying to think of the best domain for it and think I have one. Ihave something I am setting up fro webjobz now so it needs to be shunted
