Updated Site, Need Help With Ad Placement

    I updated my site and I was getting about 7-10 clicks per 1000 hits, now I updated my site and im only im only getting about 1 click per 1000 hits, for instance I got 1 click today with 1400+ hits. I have been getting about 0.08% 0.1% CTR

    Do you guys notice anything wrong with my site?

    I updated all the ads with new codes just incase they where messed up, I also noticed google blocked http:/ / www. sagags. com/ cgi-bin/ nph-proxy. cgi but I dont have anything there anymore anyways, could that effect me CTR?

    one other thing is my analytics account is showing only like 60 visters a day
    even though its really about 1,500- 2,000 today.

    where do you get the 1500 - 2000 numbers from.. logfiles?

    you don't have the urchin tracker installed on your post pages (when you click through on a posting from the homepage) . so those 60 are just for the homepage ..

    To improve CTR, it also helps to remove the 'Advertise on this site' which you can do within your AdSense account.

    Thanks!! You where right, I forgot to put the tracker code in in the single post page.

    Also im getting these numbers from adsense, I got 2000 pageviews and from experiance I know its normally 3/4 that. Also it has to be high becuase Gizmodo has two new stories linking to me, also tech e blog, and about 5 front page digg stories
