I don't think there is mention of a "son of Allah". Mohamed was a prophet if I understand it correctly.

 

God has many names.. The point is, many believe there is ONE God, and that God, by whatever name and whatever faith is the "SAME" God.

There are 99 names of God. All of this refferring to the oneness of Him. By all means there should be only one God

The funniest thing about Islam, Christianity, and Judaism is all the "governing" bodies of each religion have documents and writings of each others belief. They all have each others original books and teachings, some are actually in possession of original documents from other religions vaulted away..and many of the prophets, and saint's are mentioned across all of the religions...sometimes called by different names, sometimes off by a few years, but the similarities between them are amazing.

Mohamed is actually mentioned across the divide, just differences on how important he was compared to other men of the time.

 

As far as you know, is not very far.

Jesus = Son of a Roman soldier, this is if he even existed.

Mary = If she existed, the smartest woman in the world, to get pregnant and blame it on God.

 

OK..Let me see if i got this. You said All the names referring to one true God. why they have different scriptures?. Also why some of the religions even criticized one & other.Plus they have different way to do things. For ex: one religion believed they have to kill people to go to heaven, one believed porks is, and a other one believed Jesus was the son of God.

i think people think that Muslims have their own God " called allah" that's wrong LOL
islam got too many names, including God , Allah , ...etc what's most important we Muslims believe that all mankind have only one God/Allah and God/Allah is for all without exception and Jesus, Mohammed, Moses , Ibrahim(Abraham) ...etc are Prophets of God not sons,they're human beings.

BTW, There's a text in the holly Koran discussing this very matter of "Son of God" and denying it of course...

According to my belief, all people were created with some feelings. The feeling of thrusting on a power and desire of eternity are two of them. God created these feelings to believe in him and to believe in future life heaven and hell. But some people are even not aware of him and satisfying their feelings with their Gods, fetishes etc. Also some people prefer ro deny the existence of God.

Also Christianity, Islam and some other religions have the same history but some events were documanted different and some people changed them (considering the poor technology and no-printing) and also some people jsut preferrefed to believe what they want to believe. So there are many many religions were springed up.

If you think there is a Creator you should try to find him when you find the real proofs that is the right belief. Just track the proofs and do not think about the rules of this religion just look if that belief is right. If the belief is right if you find the God orders are always right.

I called God as general such as Allah etc.

 

Islam have some corrupted versions. Some of them just do not care about Mohammad write their own rules and call themselves "Muslim".

Islam has strict rules to preserve the society and punish Muslims who are against the rules of Islam in the world , and says it is better to being punished in this world than being punished in Hell while some other religions wait to future life. But do not enforce other religion members and do not kill them as long as they do not first start fighting.

 

There's only one version... Just depends on how literally that version is taken.

Christians frequently used certain passages of the bible to justify everything from crusades, to holy wars, and recently church/ cult leaders like Jim Jones have bastardized the bible to lure people into catastrophic disasters and tragedies.
For centuries, kings frequently sought the blessing of the Catholic Pope for political unrest, coups and war. The Pope was more of a politician than the politicians were.

Where ever there is religion, someone will find a way to exploit it to gain control of a certain mindset of people to propagate their own agenda.

All you need to do is find people who are lost, pissed off, most of the time poor, and looking for someone to blame..... add the justification of religion, and some money and soon you will have an army who think they are fighting evil and use that as justification to kill for God....or so they have been led to believe.

It doesn't take much to gather a bunch of people who have nothing. Especially if they are mad at the people who have something, or that they think have something.
Most times just the feeling of belonging to something is enough.

If you notice, Al Quaeda's mission is to attack western wealth (WTC, Ship Hijackings, Financial Centers, Oil ) not our system of government, or even the Christian religion. They are pissed off about the money. The think that the west (which means the "richer" countries of the world, or those that stand with them) use money , military and influence to shape the political direction of the world while stepping over them...so they blow people up. And they never run out of justifications and rhetoric to let themselves feel good about it because they have nothing, and nothing to lose.

It's the oldest form of "player hating' in the world.

what made you think that we did not come from nowhere?

 

Try reading the news pretty much any day. Yesterday, it was Islamists killing in the name of Allah in Nigeria. Today somewhere else. Tomorrow, it will be more of the same.

Do you really think we are all stupid and that we don't see what is happening all around the world? Just because you pretend that there is no problem in Islam the rest of us still have our eyes open.
