    Hi, im fuser and im looking for a cms to make an eshop WITHOUT A SHOPPING CART o with a disabled shopping cart.

    Maybe a wordpress theme or plugin or a new cms i dont know about.

    Anyway, i would really use the help.

    What about a template to show your products.... i dont really need the shoping cart but i do need a CMS that looks as an eshop and can be easily updated with new products

    they say drupal is very good for this as long as you dont make business with credit card. also look for joomla.

    You can also use wordpress with a business theme (you can browse lots of free wp themes here: wpthemesfree.com ). Then you should install an appropriate plugin to sort and display your store items.

    How many products do you plan to sell? Do you plan to divide them into categories? For a small shop, you may simply use PayPal buttons with just any CMS.

    Well, im not going to put a paypal button or a shopping cart as the orders will be taken via email.

    So, i just need a cms that can make me publish items and display them with many pictures in the fastest and good looking way..

    Thank you for your kind words! But we're a shopping cart, not a fully-featured CMS :)

    Fuser, for your particular case, I'd like to clarify the following: if you plan to build an e-shop without a shopping cart, how do you plan to take orders? Or will it be just a product catalog? This point seems a bit unclear to me.

    I see. Well, in this case, you may simply pick a shopping cart and turn it into an online store CMS by deleting Buy Now/Add to Cart buttons and cart/checkout references from design templates. That's quite simple to do. In this case, an inventory can still be easily controlled via admin back-end. Does it make any sense in your case?
