DP Masters, Any Feedback is Appreciated!

I am relatively new to these forums and have recently built my first blog for fun. I learned a ton by digging in and building it from scratch. I would love for any of the dp masters on here to quickly review one or more pages and give me some feedback on my Adsense or anything else. The best Google AdSense optimization tips that I might give you are:
1. Color optimization tips - match your ads background to the color of the page in this case white. Match the color of your adsense ads links to the color of the links on your page.

If you want to give your AdSense ads some visual distinction my sugestion would be to go for a light gray border.

2. center your ads position related to the position of article content

3. you could change your second banner to a large rectangle; they worked good for me on some web sites; I think that they are at least two times better than banners (468x60 px); a leaderboard instead of your first banner should also be good

4. Give your blackberry themes some descriptions

5. Ad more content that you create yourself, your opinions and suggestions might be of some interest for some users - this should be your main concern however

 

Earner's Vision, thanks alot for taking the time to review and make some suggestions. I took your advice and changed the second banner to large rectangle ads. I tried a leaderboard at the top of the page but it didn't fit correctly, it would overlap into the right sidebar so I'm not sure how to fix that. Thanks again I plan on continually testing different colors, sizes, and placements over time to see what works best. And point #5 is my main concern, I will be adding content as often as possible!

 

In order to place an AdSense leaderboard you have to go deeper inside your layout; some basic html and css knowledge could help you do the changes; I had the same problem with layouts when I was a beginner so don't worry too much about it. You'll find a way that best suits your goals.

The content is number one. It is your starting point. Everything that you might earn from your site is based on your content. I suggest you to read the content related post on my blog for more details.

You should however plan your content structure and accordingly your keyword strategy.

If you can not add yourself too much original content try this approach; find related news and comment those news on your web site; do not copy at all any part of the news content, just provide a link to the page where you found the news and then let your comments follow. Be careful anyway, since there are people/companies that do not appreciate comments too much unless they are in their favor.

Thanks for taking a look SabQat, my search engine rankings aren't good (the blog is really new still). Also the keywords that most of my content is related to is very competitive so I need to now figure out a way around that. Any suggestions?
