It takes around a month for your proxy to get blocked however if you submit it to big lists like proxy.org or tech-faq your site will probably be blocked faster, maybe even immediately.

Yes thats right, it's against Adsense TOS to place their ads on proxified pages, you can however do that for Adbrite though they may give you some crappy reason and ban you one day especially proxy publishers.

Um actually proxy sites get blocked within a day by some of the well known web filters like Websense that are widely used by most schools. You would need some sort of a blocker stealth mod to keep your proxy hidden for a longer period of time. And yeh you are right, putting them up on top big proxy listing sites would get your proxy blocked instantly delivering an instant K.O. to it :p

Hey guyz, i need to know to use proxy? I try to use it through LAN Setting on IE & firefox but it can easily be detected. I heard i could use it through putty and SSH but that also don't work for me. Proxy website are only lack in AJAX and Javascript websites, so can't use them either. Can anybody tell me from where i can find working sock 5 or any proxy (which i can use with full functions), also which program is ok. I try some programs but none that worked for me, most probably, the proxy which i was using wasn't good enough!!

Maybe if you use SSL you won't get blocked as easily? It'd be nice if someone commented on that because I don't know.

I just accept my proxies are all getting blocked, and I'll work with the residual traffic. Submitting your proxies to the public is a must if you want to get a decent source of traffic, but it'll get you blocked quicker than if... nobody knew about it. To me, that's a fair trade.

It depends on what Proxy script you're using amongst many other things. I have several proxy sites running on Glype and they have been growing streadily for the past 6-8 months, currently at 15k per site, per month.

I highly recommend ServInt. Completely managed, very high allotments, and 24/7 support.

    Why? I'm slow.. I don't get it.

Also, what categories do you guys think are most appealing to a proxy audience? Most people appear to go to Myspace or Facebook. How's Entertainment, Humor, etc.?
