    Hello all, I have a wordpress blog and want to know what everyone's experience is with adsense text/image ads in the header. If it's not a real hotspot for clicks I'm thinking about taking it down so it won't be ad overload and detract from the site. thank,

    in header usually it's not good at all, best is above or within the content, left or right column (for blogs)
    but always at the top, not in the middle or bottom (bottom can work only in the same column of the content, after the article)

    thanks for the replies, I took it out of the header and am going to use some in-line adsense text and see how ti goes. on an un-related subject I just got an infraction for this being in the wrong category- it seems like adsense header placement would go in the /google/adsense/placement category but i guess i was wrong lol :confused:
