Is dnforum worth $35 to sell a site with?

I want to sell my website and I'm thinking of doing it through dnforum.

Are they worth $35? Will they get a higher price and not have people like mgandy make a big deal about a date mix-up and misquote me as saying that I had no reserve?

Try Sitepoint, it is $10, if the site has value, you will get a good price there. DNF seems to be pretty dead when it comes to sites, I wouldn't waste my money.

I am a member here, DNforum, and SitePoint.

I always list my sales here... and have started spending most of my forum time here.

Once you pay the DNforum membership fee, you can a site for sale every 24 hours if you wish. No additional fees.

At SitePoint the selling fee was recently increased to $19.95 per site. Only turnkey sites can be listed for $9.95.

Only you can answer that question. Take a look at you numbers and the historical sales at the forum and find out if you want to join. In the end it's only $35 and I wouldn't really worry about the cost.

As a "casual seller" I would say no, I've gotten much more interest here at DP. I went the sitepoint route once for $10 and that's $10 I wish I had back.

For recurring sales or high end sites, I defer to others with more expertise. Try a conditional sale here first. Lots of interest and low crap to serious ratio.

I really like DNForum, I think they are worth it.
You can take my word for it as I have nothing to gain for sending you there because I run my own forum at WebmasterPost.com

Based on my personal experience, Digitalpoint seems to do more business for me. I do not do well with DNF although I am a member there.

Everyone has his own story, and his opinion.

I wont buy the whole DNForum for $35.. And i have my reasons for that. Too many "so called moderators" do not even have the ability to read english, so you are probably to get banned 17 times daily for the first year or two before you learn to say "Yes sir" to everyone who is a moderator or knows one.. HELL OF A PLACE, STAY AWAY !!

    After all, good luck.

There are big spenders there, if your site is good/profitable it will sell.

All mods speak english, I don't know where you got that. They only ban scammers and spammers.

Being verified is optional and exclusives can post all you want

IMHO, it's one of the best forums out there for our business, right up there with this one.
