Privacy policy is required for adsense..Disclaimer and Terms of use are optional but i have added it in all my proxy sites..just to be little secure cos proxies are used for illegal stuffs too..

That is a really nice server. How much is the RAM as of now , & which RAID config do you use ?

 

I am not sure on those details, you have to check with Swank. From what I heard the cost was over $1,300 a month.

 

That sucks! Also reminds me to clean up my own, although the amount of junk sites submitted over the summer seemed to drop off quite nicely - Hopefully it will not be as bad as last year.

 

Have you thought of coding a script that would automate check each proxy in your list to see if they are genuine proxies? I know some people have managed to get that automated to a pretty successful extent..say about 95%.

Yes it does suck, I'm trying to automate the process with curl and preg_match though but couldn't get it working so did it by hand. I had 575 proxies. 357 were bunk. That means 65.3 % of the submitted proxy sites were garbage.

Yes I was in the works of doing it. But curl would come across one that doesn't load and say "var is not string" for the preg_match (To find the backlink).
So I just made a script that dumps everything on a page from the database with <br/> and a delete link beside it. then click each one. If its crap. hit the delete the link.

ive checked my proxy site using another proxy site, the result is : all my adsense didnt showed up

but if i use hidemyass, they showed up

ps: *im using fusedhosting*

If you know Python, you can use the httplib2 library for getting the html, and sockets for setting timeouts. This way if a site doesn't load fast enough, you can just scrap it.

A server costing $1300/month for shared proxy hosting ? Where will the profit come from ?

 

Hosting doesnt have to do anything with it. Problem might be with the code, or it was added too recently. Adsense may take upto 24 hours to show up.

That is why I would recommend Monsterprox.com as a quality proxy host provider. They invest in high grade server motherboard and parts. I believe he has a few of his own proxy sites that makes more than enough to cover the server costs.

Attention all proxy geeks. Someone is providing me 50k uniques irani traffic daily. Is it good for proxy sites? Adsense not gonna ban?

Just wanted to confirm if irani traffic is allowed by adsense or not.

Making money off another business to support the first isnt called business. The server configuration/ability of having high config is surely very good. But, either this guy doesnt have any business sense, as he would need atleast 300 proxy clients on 1 server to make any money with it, or he doesnt run his business for profit.

Irani traffic is allowed by Adsense, but advertisers pay very low amounts (~$0.01) per click for Irani traffic.
