Fantastic ecomm software

I have recently been looking at this ecomm software, its superb and so would like to share: Magento

Its open source, although there is an enterprise edition available. Its written in php with mysql backend.

 

Yes Magneto is a very famous ecommerce site used by many .

 

Magento is the best open source ecommerce platform available ... it is leaps and bounds ahead of oscommerce!

 

have you guys even tried uploading thousands of products using magento?
Good luck... lol If you dont have a full time programmer on hand, you will love magento(sarcasm)

 

Magento is really pretty good - though I am a programmer and I find it's structure quite easy to understand - for the average retailer though it can be quite difficult to get exactly what you want out of it.

Though magento does do the whole online shopping thing well and I'd recommend it to anyone.

 

i found that Magento has less free template if compare to oscommerce

 

Magento has been around for quite awhile now. It is indeed a good e-commerce software

 

I agree it has less free templates - but with the ease in which you can edit your own - it doesn't really stop you.

 

I think it is the best open-source ecommerce platform out there right now. The only back draw is, you need a optimized server to get the right performance.

 

Have yet to try Magento...I've always leaned towards Cubecart myself

Yes Magento is great but it is not for begginers at all.
You need to be programmer to be able to use this program
