    hi, I'm running a little affiliate promotion on my space to test ot a few different products, and i'm trying to get as many friends as I can, but it takes forever, is there a easier way besides script? i know there's a thread on here with this info. Ive been looking if there's a thread post the link please.

    there is a good service called "friend storm"

    but i think the best way is to do it by hand. try to find profiles with A LOT of friends then get them as ur friend and start leaving them comments - this will drive friends to you :)

    It was not affected by the recent blackout and it is very intuitive to use. Just make sure you don't add more than 250 a day.....

    A fully working demo is free but you can only add 60 or so friends/day with it. The full version with no limits is $16.95. If you want to build a myspace account it's well worth the money.

    i use it for my own use, i generally dont sell to anyone. But as i keep adding more friends, i will probably branch out i guess.

    Just had to stop in and comment on this one. Just an observation, ignore if you wish.

    Since it is not humanely possible to make 500 friends a day in real life then are they still considered friends when you get them online that fast? They are just links to people/things that have no real relationship. The end result of these networks is to spread word of mouth advertising and if you have 500 friends and you send them a message for them to tell 2 friends how quickly does that destroy the value of that network?
