Please give tips to promote My Social Networking

I had recently started a social networking site which have lots of fetures of orkut / facebook and i have designed a reward programme for users.

Currently there are 40 members and the site was launched on 2nd september.

Pleae give me tips to promote the site.

Please guide me with a few affiliate programme targeting Social networking sites

Try to cooperate with some famous and high traffic website,that is,ask them put the link to your website on
their websites(contact their webmasters and then try to find some ideas to persuade them,lol).What's more,you
can try ads such as google adwords or other things to promote your website if it's for commercial use and you're

you should make a group first. Then invite your friends and other users to join your group. Put url of your site/blog.

There are easy steps to promote a site but I'll try to sum things up. You should offer quality contents of your site so that readers become interested to browse and read its content. I would look into Google Adwords while you're building links and working on onsite SEO. You will want to eventually rank for some keywords, but it could take 3 months to a year depending on the competition.

When I first started with google adwords, I was paying like .20 cents a click. This was too much. After some investigating, and tweaking my ads and site, I now pay .10 cents a click. I don't know how this compares with others, but it's something I can afford. You can set a daily budget like $5.00 or something and pause the campaign whenever you want. Now that I'm doing well in the Search Engines, I usually advertise only on weekends.

You can also get direct visitors by exchanging links with chat, dating and social networking directories. Some of these directories will send you no traffic at all. Others, however, may send you quite a few each day. Hint: higher ranking directories will obviously send you more traffic.

 

Use your members as affiliate give them some incentive on inviting lots of people. Like a mug on inviting 50 people.

that is a good point too. To have family and friends advertise with you. But they might ask what is in it for them. If you all belong to the same type of program and you all benefit from it then you can put together a team training website or at least a page from your main site. That way everyone will want to advertise it even more and everyone can benefit from the advice and tools on it.
