My advise for you is that continue using the domain coz it much more easier to promote old domain.
Since it have indexed by google already.

Proxy with decent traffic which converts bad. This proxy gets decent SE traffic, but advertisers on the proxified page almost pay 0 (0.01 CPM). Adsense on the landing page also converts terrible. I guess it is related to the keyword(s).

I don't want to change SEO.

This is similar to my issue. My converts are great, but no one clicks the ads on my landing page. I might have to sign up for adbrite for the proxied pages, but I hate giving my SS# up front.

So does anyone care to share what ad service they use on proxified pages? Are axill, nuffnang or advertlets worth anything for US traffic, and are they reputable?

Adbrite has started banning proxy publishers as long as 1 year ago. They are still banning them today though it seems to take them ages to fully ban all proxy sites, maybe they dont have a good enough script to detect proxy webistes on their network.

@seminarpw - You know what really tells me about your posts? A broken sales pitch. The facts that you bring out aren't totally true at all. You mention you rank for 'Free Web Procsy and get a few thousand Uniques from that keyword alone each day, sorry but according to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal it shows it as: free web procsy 'Not enough data' for both local and global search volume.

The keyword free web proxy isn't all that competitive at all. So what if it has 13 million results? That doesn't justify the competitiveness level of a keyword. I rank #1 for a keyword top digital media here out of 240,000,000 results, but does that mean it is a competitive keyword? Heck, no. How about trying for 'web proxy', or 'Myspace Proxy' , or 'Facebook Proxy' with only 2-5million Search Results? There are SEO experts lurking in this thread. Unfortunately based on your sales pitch and your inaccurate results and statistics, I can't find myself trusting you much that you are good with SEO. So would ya just stop spamming this thread promoting your own SEO service? Please go to the BST section as this is a proxy discussion thread. Thank you.

I have some questions for all DP'ers. I just start my proxy and I am wondering from where DP'ers earn money from proxies?
Is it just from the ads like Adsense or Adbrite?
How to drive traffic to my proxies?
Can someone show me the site (proxies) that had made money?

I heard a lot of people said that the proxies site are so profitable, but I still haven't got it how they works

    this is proxysite

Any helps will be highly appreciate.

They declined my proxy because the home page didn't have enough content on it.

Hey geekos, as far as I remember they do not allow their ads on proxy sites at all though I know they are bringing revenue almost as good as adsense does.

I believe lots of people have talked about this here, if you have the time reading this thread from say 6 months ago would give you quite a good bit of insight. But if you wanna find out through categorized information, you may like to check out Web Proxy Talk Forums.

sure its absolutely possible. i only run 2 proxy site, and i have put CPM banner on it, and CPM revenue its enough to pay my proxy hosting bill. so i still can take the adsense revenue 100% from it :D

It is possible, but it is becoming harder for many new proxy owners. It really depends on how much time you are willing to put into promoting it.

    Hey guys,

I noticed on some Glype proxies when you surf google.com through the proxy. And you search for any search term through google it gives back an error: The requested resource could not be loaded because the server returned an error:
    503 Service Unavailable (?).

Has anyone ever faced this error before? Do you know how to fix it? Much help appreciated!
