Israel annonces !! why ?

I have a site in french about morocco but i can't understand why Israelian ads are showing !

my website has no relation with israel

You can stop adsense from displaying that ad if you insist. You don't even need to contact google or anything.

By the way, aren't you in breach of google TOS by using another contextual ad along with google adsense? Just a question, I am not sure.

 

i don't want to stop the ad all i want is change it... as it were in past (disiplaying morocco related ads) .. i tried to change some of the content but that f**ing ad still in there !

 

FYI u can block the unwanted URL .

1. Log in your adsense account
2. Go to Adsense Setup > Competitive Ad Filter
3. Insert the unwanted URL there and voila!

I think you need to remove some more ads.

Haha, thats cuz you have keywords about Israel

 

I don't see what mesothelioma has to do with Rap marocain but meh I guess that's another discussion. Like the posters above said if you want less Israel ads use less Israel keywords.

C'est quoi ton site?
It is possible that Google are displaying ads about the "Middle East" and since Morocco is considered a middle eastern country (even though it is located in North Africa) and Israel is also considered a middle eastern entity (although that is also debatable), Google is making the connection.

 

I found at least one "Israel" on one of the topics.

ads are geo targetted for visitors

if your visitors are from Israel, or google thinks they're from israel it may show Israeli ads

Also: maybe the Israeli companies pay enough to be featured where they are not perfectly targetted, but possibly semi-tragetted.

There are certain factors google considers when deciding which ads to appear on your site. Some of those include:

* The content of your site
* Location of you site.
* Dpending on whats in your META Tags (Title, keywords, Description, etc).

Also has to do with your host and what else is on the servers.

 

The home page has lots of links, pictures etc but little actual text. I'd maybe try and have a paragraph about what the site is about - Morocco, music, people, culture and so on - to try and steer google in the right direction better. Maybe with section targetting.

The ads showing here (in France) are a mix of 'music' and 'Israel conflict' - I suspect that the 'Israel conflict' ads have specified Maroc as a keyword, and they are paying the most. You can block them (there can't be all that many, I guess) - assuming you are sure your visitors aren't going to be interested in these ads.

There perhaps just aren't many french-language morocco-oriented advertisers?
