Yes, we are in the process of building a new listing script suitable for any types of usage either as proxy listing, web listing or anything you like. The launch date is not known as we are trying to come out with a beta version as soon as possible.

Try this proxy site fix, I am limited for time and can not check if what you are seeing is what I saw back in April. At the time, most people did not have this problem and I do not remember any one apart from me testing it. Perhaps it is a usage based/targeted change on googles end.

Another google related "bug" that only I suffered from when using glype was related to my OS of choice: FreeBSD. That combined with Lighttpd meant the long urls were getting cut off and not processed correctly. The fix was fairly simple and you can get the basics of that here. It speaks of windows, but it also applied to FreeBSD. Sadly, I lost that patch so you will have to bodge it to suit.

Thinking about it a bit more, I think my first fix did fix google - but when I looked into the problem deeper more than google was affected but this occurred with much less frequency and then the lighttpd link cured everything.

Good luck and report back :)

Hey guys how much do you think a design such as this for a proxy list would go for? Its just a .PSD:

    http://img71.imageshack.us/img71/3812/proxylist.png
    http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/7675/proxylistcontact.png
    http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/2258/proxylistlatest20.png
    http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/4531/proxylistsubmit.png
    http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/2385/proxylistsubmit2.png
    http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/3828/proxylistsubmit3.png
    http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/9859/proxylisttop30.png

Any ideas? Also how much it cost to get the whole thing coded and integrated with the proxyeater script? And how much would I be able to sell the coded template for?
    Thanks :)

    Hey,

I have been out of the proxy biz for a long time now. So could someone help me out and answer:

    What's the best proxy script?
What are currently the best ways to monetize?
    What traffic should I ban?

Also I set up a proxy chat room http://tinychat.com/proxychat because DP is being unreliable.

    Welcome back!

Best script; Glype 1.1. Monetize wirth Adsense on landing page and Smowtion on the proxified pages. To join Smowtion use my sig link to get +20% of earnings, 80% in total. You should probably ban China and Iran, perhaps more countries depending on your traffic.

    Cheers,
    v.

Adbrite seems to start banning proxy sites. You may don't want to use Adbrite on the proxify pages cuz it only lead ya to get banned :/

Seeing I can't edit the above post, can someone answer the following :)

Why do we need to block some countries traffic?

What is the best CPM network?

Who uses CPA ads on their site and if you do are you making more money or less?

When adding new proxies to my network should I just put them on my current shared proxy hosting account or create a new hosting account?

How much are you making each day on average?

Has anyone tried advertising on Craiglist or Gumtree and if so what was the results like?

Does MySpace, Facebook and other social networking sites provide good traffic?

Have any of you given article marketing a try and if so did it go well?

I stopped using adbrite long time back. Use mediashakers or global interactive instead.

Just google it out for a decent glype theme ;)

I wouldn't recommend using GlobalInteractive or MediaShakers. Back then Dollar showed a screenshot that the best web filter Bluecoat has already blocked all sites showing GI and MS ad and that would easily lead them to block your proxy too if you show their ads. I believe more other web filters like websense are adopting this same approach. Reason why Bluecoat blocked GI and MS were due to their excessive adult advertisements and sometimes malware that is not safe for work and school. So avoid these 2 networks if you wanna keep your proxy under radar :p
