Hows this for blending and use of ads?

Hello, I've done my best on blending my ads. Can someone have a look and school me on what I'm doing?

only about 3/8th of my ads are relative to anything, I've went through my HTML code and added <strong> tags to important words and <H2> tags to the main few sentences, rewrote almost everything, added competitive filters inside Google Adsense control panel,

I cannot even make $1.00 on google adsense. I think something is really wrong and I'd like to fix it could somebody please help me? Thank you in advance.

How long has your site been up, have you tried section targeting, have you submitted a sitemap, are you in the Google index, and what is your traffic?

 

The actual URL has been active for a couple years, I just now decided to so something with it. I have not tryed sectioning targeting. What is a sitemap and how to I submit one?? I've recent'y submitted it to Google. My traffic is according to Google Adsense is about 1,000 impressions a day, 0-clicks and I beleive most of the impressions are from me :-/

You submit a list of everything on your site to help Google crawl it and index it faster. This, theoretically, helps to get more relevant ads quicker to your site, because Google/Adsense crawls/spiders it faster. Doesn't look like you're in Google's index.

By the way, you rack up nearly 1,000 impressions a day???

 

Thats what Google Adsense says, Uhm, I've been heavily tuning and re-uploading pages to the site and they have Adsense on them, that might explain the high impression rate?

 

As of right now my impressions on Adsense are 814, this is from 12:00am this morning, 7:37am now.

I am earning $0.00? 2 clicks out of 814 impressions?

 

You might want to put a counter on your site to count something besides your own visits. Use sitemeter.com, which has a free counter. You can ignore your own visits so that way you'll get a more accurate read of how much and where your traffic (referrals) are coming from.

 

Could you help me understand why I am getting clicks but My earning is still $0.00?


And to let you know, I was looking at the whole months of August to get the 814 impressions, I have 300 impressions for today already

 

Clicks that earn $0 are discounted by Adsense as being invalid clicks. Have you been clicking your own ads? Please don't lie. If you did it just to see if the ads work, etc, just come out and say it now. You won't get banned for a few clicks, but if you do it too often, you will get banned.

 

I already contacted Adsense about one of the accidental click I made and asked them to take care of it, I also asked them why I'm not earning anything and haven't been earning anything for the past 7-8 months. They gave me the same robotic respond that probly 99% of everyone else gets

We really don't have any solid estimate of your traffic. I would recommend putting a stat counter on your site and getting a "feel" for what/where your traffic is coming from. You can't expect to earn even a cent if no one is finding your site. If no one is finding your site, it's time to spend more time in the General Marketing forum learning how to promote your site rather than in the Adsense forum wondering why you aren't making money.

Traffic = money.

 

Perhaps Google ad titles in black or close to that would blend well.
