Is Digg good to get traffic ??

    Hi there,

    I'm wondering, is Digg a good social bookmarking website to get traffic, or is it too competitive ?? I'm know it's barely impossible to be on Digg's featured pages, but can i get a lot of traffic if i have many friends ?? Also, What is the best way to increase the number of friends ??

    How many friends do you have at the moment ?? BTW, my Digg user name is alberWD, so feel free ;)

    Digg is a top most social book marking site, which can able to provide more traffic to your link. But use apt title for your digg submission. Your keywords should get placed in digg title to drive much traffic.

    digg is one of the good SB sites known online...it gives good traffic, specially when you get lots of diggs for your post...

    For me, it s*ck or I just couldn't hit its frontpage yet :)
    So much spammers their, once they get your IM, you are hit by thousands of requests to digg and drive you crazily. And you just get traffic from it when your link on their homepage 2 or 3 days (it might be 100k pageviews or more) but later, no one come to your blog so you must hit fp every 2 or 3 days which isn't a thing in realistic.

    For good traffic you should submit your effective title and keyword. You make a friends and group in digg than after give the vote each other in your friends and others. After that you show the result.

    right now, i get much more traffic from StumbleUpon... But I'm working on my network on Digg ;)

    For getting yourself on front page you need to digg almost 500 to 600 time . although rate is very high but then you got lots of traffic.

    If not you will be buried faster than Michael jackson... Okay so he wasnt buried that fast...

    Just friend a ton of people and digg their articles, then digg the articles of the large diggers and make them friends - this will result in people voting up your stories if they are good and viral

    If your content is good then yes Wii could be a good niche...

    Find some catchy "linkbait" style titles that are successful... eg:

    20 ways to hack your Wii
    20 girls in bikinis fight over a Wii
    20 best Wii games to get girls naked...

    This type of article will do well on Digg :)
