If you have a big group with lot of members then you can sell the ad space to webmasters , in places like youtube you can run your adsense ads and earn money. You can ask your friends in your profile to visit your site that way you can earn through impression. There are several ways find out which will suit you.

We can easily display advertisement for people for example, say they are fans of celebrities. It's really about making it relevant. When adverts are targeted to particular people, the number of users that click the advert goes through the roof.

I believe - let's say on Twitter - you'll have to start following people from groups that you are interested in. In return, most will follow you. Then you can hit them every now and then w/ a short, sales pitch.

You can do PPC on Facebook and make good money. Or you can do a sponsored tweet and make some money.

So YES, you can make money from social networks. The question isn't IF you can it's if YOU WILL!

Ya it is possible to make money in social networks. For eg. facebook and tweeter allow you to put affiliate links in them. So if anyone buys from that link you will get the credit.

I have. In several ways, actually. I've been hired by followers as a resume write, career coach and article writer. I've also gotten referrals from those followers. I'm not making millions but I've built up a network of trust now which keeps the work steady without much advertisement from me at all.

Ofcourse yes, Facebook is become a tool that able to bring traffic to your link you have share out such as video, website, blog and so on. People do interest will share again and click on it.
It will bring unique visitor that maybe high conversion rate. Beside that if your site do have adsense, then large traffic from Facebook do able to benefit you as well.
