How to get on Digg mainpage?

Well, it's a "simple" question.I have a new website/service. How can I get to the mainpage of Digg and make everyone talk about it?

 

Write a great article that people like to share with others.
Share it with as many people you can.
Hope your article gets Dugg much & people comment on your article.

Else there's nothing much you can controll.

 

Is it really that simple that great article will get you on a Digg main page? I am not sure about it!

 

Writing a good article doesn't guarantee that it will be shown at the homepage. It just gives you higher chances.

 

Yes, first get a lot friends from Digg users profile just get introduced with them on chat, mean while keep digging excellent submissions on digg and add those submitters are your friend. Then plan a day, write a top 10 list, or amazing lists etc. and submit it and ping all your digg contacts to check it out and digg + comment if possible.

This is the real way to get it on first page, ( not easy i agree )

 

It's more about who you know than what you write. Obviously if you know 300 diggers to digg you story but you story still sucks, the moderators will block it from hitting the front page. Usually new sites do have a decent shot at hitting the popular section on Digg, you just need to know the right kind of people and have the quality content that can hit on the front page. That means write about stuff people find interesting, and actually want to read about. Lists of things work well, like wallpapers or icons.

 

The more people digg your article and vote .. you will get on first page.. so work on your article..

 

The digg algorithm is fairly complex. It has to be a certain amount of diggs in a certain amount of time by a specific group of people.

Creating 300 brand new accounts, digging one submission within 2-3hrours won't work for example.

Unique article which is very informative and which can help people a lot and about which people think that the article is really very informative and like to share with others will get you to the main page of Digg.

 

Needs to get some kind of snowball effect going on really, if the article really is that great than I'm sure it will be Dug. Just make sure you participate within the Digg community.

the more you have friends on digg the more you will get form digg, this is the simple rule of digg.com

means make more and more friends on digg and ask them to digg your story. then the other people on digg will take notice of your story and if the article is interesting and worth of reading they will also digg it. that's how you get on home page

getting on the first page of Digg is quite complex indeed. But the simple part of it maybe is if your post gets dugg with the most number, you will end up on the first page and get lots of traffic.

 

Well when your digg submission a huge diggs number so it will come to main page and whenever you submit anything in digg. Your submission comes at top of the page in the category page where you submitted it.

 

I really think your article has the chances to get on first page of Digg is it is submitted by a powerful Digg user and if it's good content.

 

it's totaly depends on yuor article content and how many people have digg your article. if article is great in terms of quality, then it will be dugg by more people. and obviuosly your article will be on top of the page.

 

i think your link should dugg more often and as you get highest digg, that will help your link get more visible.
