:) How do you guys do it? what are you selling? I know about the affiliate programs and all that stuff but how do you get people to buy or click. I don't have any adsense on my site because i am still working on building traffic. But I need advise on what to do.

I am under the impression that I need a good amount of traffic to even get adsense? Really, cause my traffic, though grewing daily is still pathetic.:)

I suggest you work on building your traffic: that's what it's all about.

You need visitors to sell to.

BTW, I notice you have your blog hosted offsite: if you had it hosted on your site, you'd be ble to build your traffic quicker by posting often.

    Just my 2 cents.

How do i go about hosting the blog on my site, and if I do will I still be able to get the traffic I am getting from wordpress? My blog is less than two months old and my traffic or lack there of has increased since I put up my blog on wordpress. Like I said textbook theories are working for me right now. I tried getting a blog off wordpress.org but it just seem too complicated back then. I am willing to host my own blog but I just need to learn the ropes...:)

Once again thank you for your two cents it was worth way more...

No. You need a good amount of traffic to make good money on Adsense. But they will accept you in their programme so long as you have a suitable site with good content, and it complies with their policies. Make sure you read the terms carefully, because they do exclude a lot of sites for various reasons.

For some sites Adsense will pay out a lot better than other affiliate programmes, so it's always worth experimenting with it.

Many hosts have a one click fantastico installation (which installs your blogon your host). If not, you can go the the WP site and find directions on how to upload WP throught FTP: I am pretty sure they have step by step instructions.

As for traffic, in the beginning you may lose a little bit of traffic, but in the long run, you'll be much better off.

You could even keep your current blog, and just post there occasionally, while posting more often in the new blog, hosted on your site.

    Good luck.

Yes. Most importantly, you need patience and persistence. Because you have to wait 10 months to 1,2 years before you can see big returns :D
