AFAIK, freeproxyhosting dot net do provide free proxy hosting but its a ads included hosting.

 

There is not much competition in the proxy script field..glype is the only player..phproxy hasn't been updated since loooooong..

And from Proxy.Org, it's true -- but at least now we now the actual number of people that could read their emails, before there were tons of emails that were doing nothing, so I think it didn't hurt he removed them

Ofcourse it remains the same indeed, there are still a people who never read their emails (imagine 140,000 unique visitors, the day of the blast )

 

Anyone still earning decent money with proxys or is it even MORE saturated?

 

If you are submitting to proxy.org, then pray really hard..the links are randomized and posted in each group..luckily my link was on top for the blast that were sent to top three of the groups..all of them combined have 45k members..it was a weekday and luckily my site had only 8 other proxies for company..but now its close to ~15 sites everyday..so allot some prayer time for that too

and do report here if you get good traffic..

 

I run proxies on my dedicated server and I need to ban certain countries. For the moment I am doing this using the htaccess files which adds a lot of burden to my CPU.

I want to use geoip and block access at iptables level
Can someone provide detailed instructions on how to integrate geoip at Centos (cpanel) kernel and block specific countries or instead provide a relative link?

none of you will reember me but a year or 2 ago i used to do loads of proxys and was thinking of starting it again as i have a lot of spare time on my hands.

i used to work on the principle of loads of small proxys. At one point i had over a few hundred and was making loads.

Now was just wondering if i was to start and promote 20 proxies using groups, topsites, toplists etc. do you reckon i could make a small profit. Would it be possible to earn about $5 a day over all of them using just the easy free promotion methods.

here i put only customers proxies in the email blast
and right now i have 30459 members in my yahoo group , that is fully moderated

I have alwasy been concerned on what kind of IRAN traffic would these blasts might be sending ?
I know for sure than IRAN users are much more on groups than actual US users !

I've submitted an application yesterday to xTendMedia and I just got in I heard it's a really good company for proxies, and I'm looking forward to trying it out. For now, I'll mix it into my Smowtion ads (like 50/50 or so) and if it works out than I'll up it.

Does anybody have any reviews, advice, and suggestions for me?

Good question .. i have the same ones .. How is the earning on smowtion for you people ?

 

I think you should not use .co.cc domain coz there are many downside of it for example,topsite is not kind of accepting those domain.

 

yeah also co.cc are not good while selling. effort may be wasted with co.cc domain promotions
