    it depends on your area and your gross of sales. usually ebay will deduct some of your sales for their fees. if you receive your money through paypal, you will be charged another 2-3 percent for the transaction. thats all

    You'll need a Paypal account. Also, if you're going to be selling a ton of items, consider a UPS terminal. At my work, we have this terminal that automatically weighs items and prints out shipping labels; it'd save alot of time if you're selling hundreds of items.

    No-one knows the answer. It depends on too many variables and what if scenarios.

    Generally speaking your profitability depends on your buying price, selling price, competition, ebay & paypal fees, and any other costs you are going to incur (don't forget the cost of your pc, internet connection, mailing, packaging, finance, wages...etc).

    Keep in mind that eBay is unpredictable, especially when you first start selling. You may have no or very little sales. Do a test run for a month or two to see how the market works, how the consumers respond, how you adapt to eBay. There is no point in stocking on inventory at the beginning.

    I can't speak for everyone but for me ebay is one tough nut to crack. I firgured out years ago I wasn't going to be able to make a decent amount from it. I would suggest finding a wholesaler, and this isn't the easist thing in the world to do. It takes a lot of patience and homework--but I hear they have an affiliate program.

    Just keep in mind that until you get good feedback you will have less bids. That doesn't mean no one will buy anything but a higher feedback definitely does help to inspire confidence.
